Snowplanet Terms and Conditions
RFID Card
An RFID card is compulsory to access the lift. This card will be provided for a $3 deposit which is refundable once card is return.
Timed Products
Snowplanet operates an access control system that enables the sale of timed products e.g. 2 hour and 4 hours passes. When making your purchase you need to select the start time for any timed product purchased. Your timed product will begin at that selected time and end at the termination of the period selected. Your RFID card will provide access during the time you have selected for the product you have selected. Once your product time ends you will not be able to access the Snowplanet lifts. You can purchase additional time at our ticketing desk.
Rental Equipment
Every attempt is made to ensure we have plenty of rental equipment, however Rental Equipment is subject to availability on the day of your visit.
Our snow hall is chilled to -5 degrees, so warm and waterproof clothing is essential. Additionally, beanies and ski socks are highly recommended and warm, waterproof gloves are absolutely essential.The following clothing can be hired at Snowplanet:

Safety Equipment
Snowplanet strongly encourages the use of safety equipment, which can be hired at the following prices:

Please be aware that helmets are compulsory for the following:
All participants of lessons, including our freestyle and race programmes
All users of our Terrain Park (jumps and rails)
Recreational Skiing/Snowboarding
Snowplanet’s snow hall includes a 200 metre main slope serviced by two platter lifts that transport customers to the top of the slope on the Northern and Southern end of the building. Up the centre of the slope is an 80 metre Beginners’ Carpet, designed to transport customers of all ages and abilities so they can learn the basics of snow sports before progressing onto the platter lifts.For the safety of all of our guests, customers using the platter lifts must be able to meet the following standards:
Be able to stop safely when required
Control their speed and direction
Perform linked turns from the top to the bottom of the slope
Use the platter lift unassisted.
Snow Tubing & SnowPlay
Snowplanet has a specialised Snow Tubing track to ensure you are safely slipping and sliding your way down our slope!Snowtubing is available at all times, however this may be changed without notification.
Snowplay is a tobogganing experience on our specially prepared track. TheSnowPlay experience is available Monday-Friday between the hours of 10am and 2pm, excluding public and school holidays.
Refund/Cancellation Policy
No refunds will be given for any snow activity cancelled by you.Dependent on the amount of notice we receive, the following credit will be applied to your account for you to use towards an alternative snow activity within 12 months of the original booking date:
When a cancellation is 24 hours or more prior to the start of your snow activity, a 100% credit towards an alternative snow activity will be offered.
When a cancellation is received less than 24 hours prior to the start of your snow activity, a 50% credit towards an alternative snow activity will be offered.
When a cancellation is not received and you are not present for the booked snow activity, no credit will be offered.
Safety
Participation in Snow sports contains an element of risk. Snowplanet takes every effort to minimize this risk by ensuring a safe environment. We encourage you to take a lesson to learn the basic s of the sport and minimizeyour risk. Learning how to stop and turn is a basic requirement of the sport which will minimize your risk and the risk of injuring fellow participants.
Our snowdome is 202 meters long, and 41 meters wide. It has a beginners area, complete with ‘magic carpet’ lift, a terrain park, and a free ski area. It has two platter lifts to gain access to the top of the slope. The average temperature in the snowdome is -5, this is maintained through the use of 64 fans. During the night the temperature drops to -8. We ‘blow snow’ approximately twice a week,which ensures the snow quality is kept to a high standard.
